Since its inception, the Company has added a myriad of services and operating locations that complement those already in place and offer more, both in scope and quality, to its customers. The equipment fleet has grown to include vacuum trucks, drilling rigs, excavators, wet-dry vacuum equipment, tankers, and vacuum trailers. In addition, tank-cleaning services were added and expanded upon to offer comprehensive industrial maintenance. The Geosciences Services Division continually improves the Company's already strong spill response capabilities, while the Products Division grew out of the Company's expertise in products and services related to petroleum facilities. Each addition brings the Company closer to providing its customers with the finest environmental products and services.
Today, Environmental Products & Services of Vermont, Inc. operates from 11 locations in Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Vermont. The Company's headquarters is located in Syracuse, New York. Each operation's location or branch office is fully staffed and can offer the complete spectrum of Company products and services. In addition, all technical personnel and operations staff are qualified, 40-Hour OSHA-trained professionals. With this multi-branch approach, each customer receives individual attention and service. The Company's branches are strategically located so that, where necessary, personnel and equipment from one branch can be called upon to support the operations of an adjacent branch. The Corporate Environmental Health & Safety Department works with operations and safety personnel to coordinate the sampling, testing, and identification of environmental contaminants. They then determine the best method for its removal, transportation, and disposal. All branch consulting and other professional services are supported by the Corporate Geosciences and Environmental groups, whose monitoring practices provide branch quality assurance.
In addition, the Geosciences and Environmental groups oversee all technical projects, including Environmental Audits and Site Assessments, technical support for permit preparation services, and Spill Prevention and Contingency Plan development.
